Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into R&D pipelines
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers and conference keynotes
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio with quantifiable ROI tracking
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or corporate foresight with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- MBA or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience with AI/quantum computing or biotech convergence trends
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
