Responsibilities

- Establish strategic partnerships with global research institutions and technology vendors
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Create scenario-based models to assess market readiness and adoption trajectories
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Oversee R&D budget allocation for future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or MBA
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding for experimental projects
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory frameworks
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
