Responsibilities
- Forecast and document 2026 technology trends across 15+ industries
- Develop scenario-planning models for quantum adoption and AI governance
- Produce monthly trend briefs for C-suite executives at Fortune 500 partners
- Lead cross-functional workshops on exponential technology integration
- Build proprietary trend-tracking algorithms using NLP and predictive analytics
- Represent Horizon Insights at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
- Mentor junior analysts in futurism methodologies and critical analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, tech research, or innovation consulting
- Expertise in at least two exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of trend forecasting with 80%+ accuracy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester, custom ML models)
- Published work on 2020s technology disruption (whitepapers/articles)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex insights to non-technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major trend-prediction successes
