Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, market data, and socio-political shifts to forecast 2026 industry landscapes
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 5-year innovation roadmap aligned with company vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating futuristic solutions (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Present futuristic scenarios to C-suite executives and board members for strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists in emerging technology domains
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory developments affecting 2026 technology adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing futuristic technologies
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI ethics, quantum applications, neurotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario-planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation (white papers, journals)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on long-term tech strategy
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, STEEP analysis)
