Responsibilities
- Architect and implement 2026-focused innovation roadmaps across quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of PhD researchers and industry disruptors
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups
- Translate complex future-tech concepts into commercial opportunities
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board of directors
- Oversee $50M+ annual innovation budget allocation
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in R&D leadership with proven 2026+ tech trajectory experience
- PhD or equivalent in Physics, Computational Biology, or Systems Engineering
- Published research in Nature or Science on emerging technologies
- Track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI development, or synthetic genomics
- Executive experience scaling tech innovation teams to 100+ members
- Active advisor to Fortune 500 CTOs on future tech strategies
