Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology foresight frameworks identifying emerging trends in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate disruptive innovations targeting 2026 market readiness
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs for cutting-edge research collaboration
- Present innovation roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investor boards with compelling data-driven narratives
- Champion ethical technology governance frameworks ensuring responsible innovation deployment
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Horizon Academy incubator program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven track record of shipping futuristic innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking ability to connect technological possibilities with socioeconomic impacts
- Experience presenting complex futuristic concepts to diverse audiences from engineers to policymakers
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy (IEEE, Nature Futures, etc.)
- Certification in Futures Research Methodology (e.g., from World Future Society) preferred
