Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams of AI researchers, quantum engineers, and biotech specialists
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 12 emerging technology domains
- Secure $50M+ in strategic partnerships and venture funding for moonshot projects
- Present findings to C-suite and board members using immersive data visualization
- Author white papers on disruptive technologies with global industry impact
- Oversee incubation of 3-5 prototype technologies annually
Qualifications
- 15+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching $100M+ revenue-generating innovations
- Advanced degree in technology, economics, or systems thinking (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight frameworks
- Portfolio of 3+ industry-transforming projects launched since 2020
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR)
