Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Develop and publish annual 'State of 2026' innovation forecasts for executive stakeholders
- Design and facilitate cross-disciplinary workshops to map future scenarios
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Champion innovation culture through internal thought leadership and mentorship
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product roadmaps and business strategies
- Present findings to board members and external investors at quarterly innovation forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurism roles within tech/energy sectors
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (e.g., Nature Futures, MIT Tech Review)
- Expertise in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend mapping software
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives
- Deep understanding of 2026-specific disruptors: AGI governance, space commercialization, bio-integration
- Certification in Futures Research (e.g., Association of Professional Futurists)
