Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential through 2026 and beyond
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks aligned with corporate objectives and market evolution
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present compelling future-state scenarios to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist partnerships across academia and industry
- Author thought leadership publications on technological convergence and societal impact
- Guide cross-functional teams in adopting future-proof methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or technology consulting
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities
- Strong executive communication with C-suite experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR, CFS)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-shaping initiatives
