Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze global technological, social, and economic trends through 2026+
- Design scalable innovation frameworks for emerging tech adoption
- Lead cross-functional workshops on future scenario planning
- Develop patent-pending strategic roadmaps for quantum/AI integration
- Partner with R&D to commercialize breakthrough innovations
- Present future-vision briefings to investors and board members
- Build an internal 'Futures Council' to embed foresight culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (showcase 3+ case studies)
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Published futurist author or keynote speaker preferred
- MBA or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent
- Fluency in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP, Delphi Method)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-back strategy implementations
- Ability to translate complex futures into executable business plans
