Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members for decision-making
- Build and manage an external ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property development for emerging domains
- Author thought leadership content and represent the company at global tech forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to influence C-suite decisions
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech or business publications
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent program required
