Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 technology inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum engineers, neuroscientists, and sustainable design experts
- Forecast disruptive technologies across AI, biotech, climate engineering, and space colonization
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine symbiosis
- Secure $10M+ in strategic partnerships with NASA, ESA, and Fortune 500 innovation labs
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and government policy boards
- Author Horizon's annual 'State of 2026' report read by 2M+ industry leaders
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent strategic foresight certification
- 10+ years experience in technology forecasting with proven impact on billion-dollar markets
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature Futures, IEEE Horizon Reports)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum AI, synthetic biology, or space tech
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 technology predictions with >85% accuracy
- Experience advising Fortune 100 CTOs on 5-year innovation strategy
- Fluency in futures modeling tools (STEEP, Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
