As a key member of our Global Futures team, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, lead scenario-planning workshops, and translate complex technological and societal shifts into actionable business strategies. Your insights will directly influence multi-million dollar investment decisions and product roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual Horizon 2026 Trend Reports analyzing AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech disruptions
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops for executive teams across Fortune 500 companies
- Build predictive models for market disruption scenarios using proprietary AI analytics platforms
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing business models
- Represent Horizon Labs at global tech summits as a keynote futurist thought leader
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodology and trend analysis frameworks
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of published trend analysis or thought leadership in tech/sustainability
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive experience
