Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market dominance
- Develop scenario planning frameworks modeling socioeconomic, technological, and environmental shifts through 2030
- Design and execute strategic foresight workshops for executive stakeholders to align on future-proofing initiatives
- Produce quarterly 'Futurescape Reports' with data-driven predictions and strategic recommendations
- Establish innovation incubation programs for breakthrough technologies with $10M+ annual budget oversight
- Partner with R&D to integrate foresight insights into product roadmaps and patent strategies
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or corporate futurism roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment
- Deep knowledge of AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence, and climate tech trajectories
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFIF) or equivalent advanced training
- Executive-level presentation skills with portfolio of published foresight work
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Portfolio demonstrating successful translation of foresight into business strategy
