Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop data-driven future scenarios and strategic recommendations for executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development cycles
- Author annual 'Future State' reports synthesizing global trends into actionable insights
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future projections into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders
- Champion innovation culture through pilot programs and rapid prototyping initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research or thought leadership
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience with futures methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, backcasting)
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
