Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing and neuro-interfaces
- Lead interdisciplinary teams of AI researchers, bioengineers, and systems architects
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and paradigm shifts
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Oversee incubation of moonshot projects with $50M+ R&D budgets
Qualifications
- PhD in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience with 10+ years in strategic innovation
- Proven track record of scaling breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on technology disruption
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R, or Julia preferred)
