Responsibilities
- Map and analyze global megatrends impacting 2026 landscape (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech)
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 3-5 year horizon planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Author visionary whitepapers and thought leadership positioning our brand as a future authority
- Design and implement foresight methodologies to identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with venture capital arm to scout emerging technologies for acquisition
- Present strategic recommendations to board of directors with data-driven confidence
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic consulting, futurism, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting market shifts (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning certification (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (Forbes, HBR, etc.)
- Experience leading high-stakes transformation projects in Fortune 500 environments
- MSc or PhD in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Fluency in trend visualization tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Palantir)
