Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop predictive models and scenario plans for industry evolution
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate foresight into corporate strategy
- Produce whitepapers and thought leadership on future-facing innovations
- Manage cross-functional innovation labs with $2M+ annual budgets
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and tech summits
- Mentor a team of 5 futurist analysts using proprietary AI-driven analytics platforms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight or innovation consulting
- Published research on exponential technologies (AI, quantum, bioengineering)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, SWOT)
- Track record of influencing enterprise strategy through trend analysis
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
