Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for future-proofing organizational operations and product portfolios
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align teams on future vision and execution strategies
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, industry conferences, and media engagements
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for emerging market opportunities
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic factors influencing technological adoption timelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record of translating trend research into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in AI, biotech, or quantum computing ecosystems
- Exceptional scenario-planning and systems-thinking capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) highly desirable
