Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI governance, quantum computing, climate migration) to develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive teams using proprietary Horizon Forecasting methodology
- Produce quarterly 'Futurescape Reports' synthesizing technological, social, and economic inflection points
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems deployment in regulated industries
- Coordinate with R&D labs to accelerate sustainable tech commercialization timelines
- Mentor cross-functional 'Future Task Forces' on foresight methodologies
- Present strategic briefings to investment committees on emerging market opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or equivalent C-suite advisory role
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio examples required)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate modeling, or decentralized systems
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals
- Experience advising boards on exponential technology governance
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (CFP) or equivalent
