- Present findings to executive leadership and investor stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on future-tech convergence
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of predicting tech disruptions (3+ validated case studies)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and trend impact analysis
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech stacks (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Experience with strategic planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio of published future-tech forecasts or innovation frameworks
