Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and societal trends to forecast market shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech disruption
- Lead quarterly horizon scanning workshops with R&D, product, and marketing leadership
- Author annual 'Future State' reports influencing $500M+ investment decisions
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify emerging startups for strategic acquisition
- Design immersive foresight simulations for executive leadership development
- Represent company at global innovation summits (Web Summit, CES, Davos)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech impacts (MIT Tech Review, Harvard Business Review)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board audiences
- Portfolio of scenario planning projects for Fortune 500 companies
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI trend analysis platforms
