Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and societal trends to forecast industry transformations by 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and implementation priorities
- Produce high-impact research reports and trend briefings for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to integrate 2026 foresight into innovation pipelines
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists in future-oriented methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing actionable 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, biotech, climate tech, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative communication skills
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Global perspective with experience across multiple industry verticals
