As a key member of our Global Futures Lab, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D pioneers, and cross-functional teams to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable ecosystems. You'll translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies while maintaining our competitive edge in an exponentially evolving landscape.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Innovation Framework with quarterly scenario planning updates
- Architect future-proof business models and product roadmaps aligned with emerging market realities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking across organizational silos
- Produce executive-ready foresight reports with data-driven predictive insights
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech incubators
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of anticipatory intelligence
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, clean energy)
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial success
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation abilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (preferred)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from the University of Houston or foresight academy)
