Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for emerging tech disruptions (AI, quantum, biotech) by 2026
- Lead cross-functional workshops mapping societal impact scenarios
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Reports' for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation maturity
- Represent company at global futurism conferences and policy forums
- Mentor junior futurists through our 'Future Forward' program
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published 2020+ trend analysis or scenario planning
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Experience with cross-industry stakeholder management at executive level
- Certification in Futures Thinking or equivalent (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurism journals
