Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 2026+ impact
- Develop strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation to disruptive future scenarios
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning documents for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and innovation priorities
- Establish partnerships with leading research labs and academic institutions for collaborative foresight projects
- Design and maintain a comprehensive technology radar system for continuous trend monitoring
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and influence long-term corporate strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, technology scouting, or innovation consulting at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their potential societal/economic impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing high-stakes innovation projects
- Published thought leadership in futures studies or technology strategy (portfolio required)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
