Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for AI ethics, quantum-resistant cryptography, and neural interfaces
- Lead 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives to identify emerging tech disruptors
- Coordinate with R&D teams to prototype 2026-use-case applications
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Author white papers on societal impact of 2026 technological shifts
- Maintain compliance with emerging AI governance frameworks
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive analytics methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Future Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in tech strategy with proven 5-year forecasting success
- Published research on AI governance or quantum computing applications
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology adoption curves
- Proficiency in predictive modeling tools (e.g., Prophet, Monte Carlo simulations)
- Deep knowledge of DARPA/NIST technology roadmaps
- Experience with cross-industry innovation ecosystems
