Responsibilities
- Architect multi-generational tech roadmaps spanning 2026-2035
- Quantify market readiness for emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AI)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives
- Partner with MIT, Stanford, and NASA on joint R&D initiatives
- Author annual 'State of 2026 Tech' whitepapers
- Manage $15M innovation portfolio with 25% ROI target
- Represent company at Davos, CES, and World Economic Forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Futurism (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in tech strategy at FAANG or equivalent unicorn
- Published research on quantum computing or neural networks
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year horizons
- Fluency in at least 2 programming languages (Python preferred)
- Security clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ tech transitions from lab to market
