Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions using emerging tech stacks
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis in AI, quantum, AR/VR, and synthetic biology
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders and translate technical vision into investment opportunities
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Drive organizational adoption of future-ready skills and agile methodologies
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's impact on human evolution
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (quantum, AGI, spatial computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Deep understanding of technological singularity implications
- Published work in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs on long-term tech strategy
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight
