Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 societal and industrial projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing proof-of-concepts for next-gen human-AI symbiosis systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, climate AI)
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption curves and market disruption
- Partner with VPs of Product to integrate future-tech capabilities into commercial offerings
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and external stakeholders at global tech forums
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, climate modeling, neurotech
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (VC-backed product launches)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP) or equivalent
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio showcasing 5+ technology predictions validated within 5-year timeframe
