Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech) to develop 5-10 year strategic frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create innovation blueprints for 2026 market readiness
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions addressing future human needs
- Develop scenario models for geopolitical, environmental, and societal disruptions impacting tech adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Build and nurture a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends (demonstrable publications/whitepapers)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI ethics, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioner)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
