Responsibilities
- Define and execute the comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap, identifying emerging trends in AI, Quantum computing, and Synthetic Biology.
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Conduct deep-dive research into disruptive technologies to ensure Nexus Innovations remains ahead of the curve.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align technical strategy with business goals and market demands.
- Oversee the architectural design of scalable, secure systems capable of supporting next-generation user experiences.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous innovation and excellence.
- Prioritize technical debt reduction while driving new feature development for the 2026 release cycle.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in senior technical leadership, software engineering, or product architecture.
- Proven track record of leading complex, large-scale technical initiatives from concept to deployment.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Deep expertise in at least two of the following: Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, or Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong understanding of emerging tech trends, specifically those relevant to the 2026 vision (e.g., AI integration, Edge Computing).
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
