- Lead strategic foresight initiatives identifying disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop scenario-based roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology sectors
- Chair cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and venture capital teams
- Author white papers and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Build proprietary trend-forecasting algorithms using machine learning and big data analytics
- Mentor junior futurists while maintaining thought leadership through published research
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar innovation portfolios for strategic partners
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (e.g., launched 3+ tech products/services)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent innovation discipline
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and scenario planning frameworks
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis platforms
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management (preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
