Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year roadmaps for emerging tech adoption across quantum, bio-engineering, and climate tech sectors
- Lead cross-continental innovation sprints with teams in Berlin, Singapore, and San Francisco
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budgets through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Mentor PhD fellows and industry veterans in patent development and commercialization
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and UN Sustainable Development Goals initiative
- Author white papers cited in Wired, Nature, and Harvard Business Review
- Chair annual 'Future Horizons' summit featuring world-renowned futurists
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computational Biology, or Systems Engineering with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record scaling AI/ML solutions from prototype to enterprise deployment
- Published research in Nature/Science journals with >500 citations
- Expertise in quantum error correction and sustainable blockchain architectures
- Fluency in Python, Rust, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep familiarity with EU AI Act and US Innovation & Competition Act frameworks
- Portfolio of 3+ commercialized technologies generating $10M+ ARR
