Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year innovation strategy targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling AI, quantum computing, and biotech solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis in emerging technology domains
- Present innovation roadmaps to executive leadership and investment committees
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget allocation for high-impact projects
- Drive cultural transformation to embed innovation across all business units
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation or product development leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $3M
- Expertise in technology forecasting and trend analysis
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) preferred
- Published thought leadership in future technologies
