Responsibilities
- Lead strategic development of 2026 technology roadmap with focus on AI ethics, quantum applications, and climate tech
- Direct cross-functional R&D teams of 15+ specialists across 3 continents
- Secure $10M+ in innovation grants and partnerships with DARPA, NASA, and EU Horizon
- Architect patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies in neuro-interfaces and fusion energy
- Present annual innovation strategy to C-suite board and global investors
- Mentor PhD candidates through our Nexus Future Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI Ethics, or Sustainable Tech with 10+ years industry leadership
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from lab to market ($50M+ impact)
- Expertise in emerging tech governance frameworks (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Published research in Nature/Science with >500 citations
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for federal projects
