Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for AI governance, quantum adoption, and carbon capture systems
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Advise C-suite on ethical implications of emerging tech (neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Forge partnerships with DARPA, MIT Media Lab, and IPCC for 2026 sustainability targets
- Author white papers on decentralized identity and metaverse interoperability standards
- Mentor a team of futurists in rapid prototyping and scenario planning
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 tech impact (e.g., published forecasts, implemented solutions)
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum algorithms, climate tech modeling, neuro-interfaces
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and Delphi technique facilitation
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures or IEEE Technology & Society
- Security clearance for classified innovation projects (or ability to obtain)
