Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps for emerging tech verticals including quantum AI and neuro-interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough solutions with 30% faster deployment cycles
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify patentable opportunities in climate-tech and biotech
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA for collaborative research
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Manage $2M annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation strategies
- Mentor junior researchers through our proprietary 'FutureThink' incubation program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 8+ years R&D experience
- Proven track record launching at least 3 patented technologies or MVPs
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, neural networks, or sustainable materials science
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent tier publications
- Experience securing $5M+ in government or corporate innovation grants
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
