You'll operate in our state-of-the-art Austin innovation hub, collaborating with Nobel laureates and serial entrepreneurs.
Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for clients in finance, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in emerging tech ecosystems
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year adoption timelines
- Design scenario planning frameworks for geopolitical and market volatility impacts
- Produce executive-grade innovation briefs with ROI projections and risk mitigation strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype 2026-relevant solutions
- Mentor junior futurists in methodology and trend analysis techniques
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps (2025-2030)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS preferred)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or Business Strategy
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to C-suite audiences
- Portfolio of published foresight work or technology trend analysis
