Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional pods to prototype and validate next-generation technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities in the 2025-2027 timeframe
- Architect strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Translate futuristic concepts into viable business models with 5-year commercialization pathways
- Present innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and board members
- Drive organizational culture shifts to embrace exponential thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or futures research
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year impact horizons
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, or clean energy)
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Certification in futures methodology (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Studies)
- Experience leading global innovation teams across multiple sectors
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies
- Portfolio of successfully commercialized futuristic innovations
