Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 technology adoption horizons
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) and assess commercial viability
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare organizational responses to disruptive innovations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain a network of industry futurists and academic researchers
- Monitor global patent landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record in forecasting technology trends and market disruptions
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, blockchain)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong presentation skills with experience communicating to C-suite audiences
- Experience with scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic tech assessments or innovation roadmaps
