Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum-AI hybrid systems and carbon-negative tech
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation funding through stakeholder presentations
- Build partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and NASA for emerging tech incubation
- Mentor 8-person innovation lab on prototyping and rapid validation
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to C-suite and board of directors
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- 8+ years in strategic tech innovation with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in AI ethics or quantum computing (IEEE/ACM)
- Proven track record of scaling R&D projects to $10M+ budgets
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, neuromorphic chips, or fusion energy
- Executive-level stakeholder management across 3+ global regions
