Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological horizons
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technology solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends across AI, quantum, biotech, and climate tech
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board members securing funding and buy-in
- Mentor junior innovators and establish a culture of experimental learning
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or technology consulting with proven track record
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex product development cycles
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with innovation focus
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation management
- Experience securing $10M+ budgets for experimental projects
