Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and synthetic biology applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype 2026-viable solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AGI, climate tech, space commercialization) for market disruption potential
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants from DARPA, NSF, and private sector partners
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, SpaceX, and other future-focused institutions
- Mentor junior innovators through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 10+ year market impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Executive-level presentation skills with TEDx or equivalent stage experience
- Patent portfolio demonstrating scalable innovation (minimum 3 granted patents)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global collaboration
- Portfolio showcasing 2026-era concept designs or prototypes
