Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for 2026 market disruptions across tech, healthcare, and energy sectors
- Produce quarterly 'Future State' reports for C-suite executives with actionable scenarios
- Lead global foresight workshops with Fortune 100 partners and government agencies
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging technologies like quantum AI and neuro-interfaces
- Build and mentor a team of 5 futurists and data scientists
- Secure $500K+ annual research grants from NSF and industry consortia
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field with 8+ years applied experience
- Published white papers on 2025+ tech trends (IEEE/Foresight Institute preferred)
- Proven track record influencing enterprise strategy through scenario planning
- Expertise in Delphi methodology and horizon scanning techniques
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate tech
- Ability to translate complex futures into compelling executive narratives
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for government consulting projects
