Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Design and implement strategic foresight frameworks for organizational innovation pipelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create future-state scenarios and strategic priorities
- Develop quantitative models for predicting market disruptions and competitive evolutions
- Author thought leadership reports and whitepapers positioning our brand as a future-ready pioneer
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype solutions for 2030+ challenges using agile methodologies
- Advise executive team on strategic investments in next-generation capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future concepts
- Experience developing strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 or tech scale-ups
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or innovation frameworks
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPC, APF) strongly preferred
