Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026-focused innovation roadmaps spanning AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish industry partnerships and academic collaborations for R&D advancement
- Drive organizational change initiatives to embed innovation into company DNA
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, biotech) with forward-looking applications
- C-level experience with P&L responsibility and strategic decision-making
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership on future trends (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Experience scaling innovation programs in Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Strong network in venture capital and academic research communities
