Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive sustainability roadmaps aligned with 2026 climate targets
- Lead R&D teams in developing circular economy technologies and carbon capture systems
- Collaborate with city officials on Austin's smart city sustainability infrastructure
- Drive AI-powered resource optimization for industrial and urban environments
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks for ESG initiatives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for sustainability projects
- Present findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in sustainability, environmental engineering, or green tech innovation
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
- Proven track record leading large-scale sustainability transformation projects
- Expertise in carbon accounting frameworks (GHG Protocol, SASB)
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML applications in environmental systems
- Certified Sustainability Professional (CSP) or LEED AP credential preferred
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in tech-driven environments
