Responsibilities
- Define and execute the architectural strategy for next-generation distributed systems, with a focus on 2026 scalability targets.
- Lead the design and implementation of microservices, API gateways, and event-driven architectures.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and architecture validation to ensure high standards of security and performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with product and data science teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Drive migration strategies for legacy systems to modern cloud-native environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior architectural role.
- Deep expertise in system design, scalability patterns, and distributed systems theory.
- Proficiency in languages such as Go, Java, or Python, and frameworks like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Strong understanding of security best practices, compliance standards, and high availability requirements.
