Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies with 2026+ commercial viability
- Architect strategic roadmaps for quantum-AI hybrid systems and decentralized tech ecosystems
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions in sandbox environments
- Develop predictive models for technological adoption curves and market disruption scenarios
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies aligned with 2026 regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership with proven future-tech impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals or major industry conferences
- Experience translating complex technological concepts into executable business strategies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, Bioengineering, or related field
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., System Dynamics modeling, Delphi method)
- Track record of launching at least one breakthrough technology product or service
